What players think
The recurring themes across 43 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Just like the look of it, the gameplay feels very retro (although more smooth and responsive than actual old games I suppose?), which could be off-putting or frustrating to players who have a hard time mastering this kind of game, but personally it felt very natural and intentional, so it's exactly what it should be IMO.
But even the best story doesn't matter much if the game's not fun to play.
Keep in mind that this will release in Early Access and content is subject to change. This game looks and feels like a love letter to old school gameboy games even down to its retro inspired graphics.
