What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The actual campaign is excellently paced, fair, with a lot of iconic moments.
KEEP IN MIND, THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE CAMPAIGN, You've heard the whole multiplayer thing before "Multiplayer cant be played unless you download 3rd party software."
If you're looking for an immersive military FPS game this is it, it's as pure of a modern warfare soldier experience as it gets, and the campaign absolutely delivers on it, it might a bit short but it has memorable characters and moments, with the overall gameplay being cinematic for its time.
The Gameplay: It is buttery smooth.
The story was amazing, and the graphics were great for their time, but are starting to show their age.
The gunplay is so clean and a breath of fresh air, tight nit story that never branches into unbelievable territory and set up a lot of great games from the golden age of call of duty.
