What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story is easy to follow for first time and older fans.
In my opinion, this is by far the best out of any Warriors franchise game in terms of pure gameplay.
It's still the combat you know and love from WO3, DW8 or SW4.
I think this game is worth playing for any Warriors/hack'n'slash fan, since it has a ton of playable characters, and provides quite a bit of fanservice for people who are fans of both Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors.
The port has no glaring issues, and the graphics/performance is up to par.
Online co-op is surprisingly smooth, although one very negative aspect is that only the host advances through the story; so if the plan is to play the campaign with a friend from a fresh start, the offhost will have to progress through their own campaign later.
