This mechanic, faithfully translated to digital format, offers a refreshing strategic challenge while maintaining a smooth and intuitive interface that supports both single-player and multiplayer gameplay.
Perfectly worth it and playable without any of the expansions DLC, but nice to have it all (I found out that one can play the expansions in multiplayer even if the other players do not own them -- much appreciated!) The cards art is lovely and I find the interface is intuitive and works well.
I also love that I can play local co-op and thus try multiple strategies against the cpu to see how they play out.
The client is solid, games up to 4 players, difficulty sliders, win point sliders, online functionality and good bots, plus the tutorial.
The lush visuals and immersive sound effects help maintain a relaxing yet competitive tone throughout gameplay, and each advancement you apply to your cards feels visually and functionally satisfying.
The game itself is well programmed with a nice User interface that speeds the game along.
