What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
In terms of the narrative, the story is cute and rather simple (a young MC feeling like they don't belong anywhere searching for their parents), but what's truly fun and refreshing is the world-building around communities of birds, puns included.
TL;DR: Fun, short, beautiful game with easygoing exploration and innovative, albeit slightly imperfect rhythm game sequences.
Turns out the graphics were indeed cute and pretty, especially the character designs and dance animations, but unfortunately the more I played, the less I liked the game.
So I'm probably not a good rhythm-game player, but the difficulty of those sections struck me as very hard, and I've seen reviews of experienced rhythm-game players saying it was hardcore.
Lucasarts used a similar changing soundtrack so much better in the Monkey Island games more than 30 years ago.
