Exploration is equally rewarding, with optional secrets and collectibles adding incentives to venture beyond the critical path.
The gameplay is engaging and the story keeps you curious about what’s coming next.
Bygone Dreams is overall a great game with a beautiful art style and amazing voice acting.
There’s a lot here that I enjoyed: the soundtrack is beautiful, the character designs are striking, and I liked seeing the variety of gear and upgrades available as I played.
The combat is satisfying, with that souls-like edge, but it’s not just about difficulty it feels symbolic, like the dream fighting back.
