What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The narrative is sweet, and the core loop of farming, crafting, and exploring new islands is engaging at first.
The hand-drawn art style is absolutely charming and looks stunning on the Steam Deck OLED screen, the vibrant colors of the ocean and the tropical islands really pop.
The soundtrack is extremely uplifting with its strong instrumental cues and created a Peter Pan, fairy-tale atmosphere, making me feel like I was truly going on an adventure.
The 2d art was adorable, and I enjoyed the world building and character design, but they were all let down by lackluster game play and horrible balancing for item trees and when you got recipes.
