C'tis's army is an extraordinarily well-thought out machine, both as a flavorful faction identity and as storytelling-through-mechanics.
The multiplayer upgrades are completely game changing and allow for easy asynchronous multiplayer hosted on official servers for free.
This game is, however, extremely time-consuming and has an enormously high skill ceiling, so getting "good" at it will be quite an investment.
Big archer guy, big melee guy, hoplites whose gimmick was they could stand in tight formation, and ginormous chariot guy.
There's an entire guide written by the developers on how to mod, and the simple graphics make it very easy to jump into yourself by tweaking existing sprites.
Highly recommended, especially if you have a small friend group to play with.
