Desktop Companion

Pell, a tiny apprentice wizard, rebuilds his ruined tower at the edge of your screen while you work. You arrange the spells he casts. He catches falling stars in a jar and keeps working while the game is closed. About two weeks to an ending that relights a fallen star.

Nib, a round little critter, lives on your taskbar and plays a digging game on its handheld. Step away and it keeps playing, then hands you a report card when you come back. Over about two weeks the reports get stranger: a save file Nib reset hours ago is still digging.
